July – a favorable month…

For me anyway, July is a favorable month (this year) it has nothing to do with the 4th July, although alcohol, good food, good company and fireworks are never a negative.

It’s hotter than hell, and that’s an understatement, I managed to destroy one finger at work (one that many favorably use to wave at people they dislike). Anyway the day prior I destroyed the knuckle on the same finger but on the left hand. Lucky for you I type with 4 fingers and I’m able to bring you this incredibly brilliant life update.

The car is in surgery and dogs love to swim

I got the car delivered to New Mexico to have the motor rebuilt by Boost Inc – the only shop I’ll take my Subaru to, it’s worth the 7hr drive, trailer or not.

Odin learned to swim (happily and he can’t get enough), it’s kind of funny, his eyes bulge out of his big teddy bear head, but he goes in willingly without assistance.

Kids are still on summer break so the roads are still manageable for the time being and I will hopefully be able to pick up the car next week, it’s been sat for a few months with broken pistons and a failed turbo.

President Trump

The more I see in the news, the more I smile, Murcia made a good choice, and I’m starting to see that many people have nothing positive to say regardless of him doing the right thing or not in their eyes, some people follow trends like a river flows, knowing the direction won’t change no matter what. Keep going POTUS, and keep shedding light on the fake news assholes, it’s about time the world got some real news, baby steps work, just remember that you can’t eat an elephant in one sitting.

Pool Time

The pool is being abused, and I won’t lie, I get excited about getting home and jumping into the hot bath of a pool to cool down in 90 degree water when the outside temps are above 115 degrees, and I got myself a nice tan this past weekend, don’t mind if I do.

To come

I have a few blog posts that I want to get out, but they require some effort, and I to be honest, I just haven’t had the energy, the 118 degree days have beat my rear, I tap out.

Yes I’m an Apple nerd/Fanboy, and the iPhone 8 announcement is right around the corner, but I never blog about them as they are on every news feed you visit, so why waste the time, regardless – it’s going to be big.
